Dr. Liya Ma grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated with honors from New York University. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Columbia University, where she received the Pierre Fauchard Foundation Scholarship and Abraham and Marth Barnett Scholarship in recognition of her excellence and service.
Dr. Ma completed her residency at Woodhull Hospital, where she received training in all disciplines of dentistry, including comprehensive and emergency care for patients of all needs.
Dr. Ma is committed to listening to her patient’s concerns and educating her patients to allow them to take charge of their oral health through preventative care. Her compassion and conservative patient-centered approach to dentistry establish trust with her patients to ensure positive dental experiences. Dr. Ma strives to get to know the communities she serves and enjoys giving back through service.
Dr. Ma speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish.
