General/Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Hannah Gao was born in Shanghai and grew up in Queens. She studied business and commerce at Macaulay Honors College and then earned an undergraduate degree in biology at Stony Brook University. Dr. Gao received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry. While in dental school, she received the Racquel Z. LeGeros Biomaterial Research Award for her work on the protective effects of calcium-containing toothpaste against acid found in soft drinks.
Dr. Gao was trained at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital for her general dentistry residency. She is very patient and gentle with her patients. When she’s not working, Dr. Gao loves to explore other countries and cultures. She enjoys taking photographs of architecture and landscapes when she travels. Dr. Gao speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.
