Dr. Nargiz Schmidt is a highly skilled prosthodontist specializing in reconstructive, aesthetic, and implant dentistry. Her motto is “A properly crafted smile can transform every aspect of a person’s life.”
Dr. Schmidt’s journey in dentistry began with her doctoral degree from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she excelled academically and received numerous awards for her clinical achievements. Building upon her general dentistry experience and completing a GPR program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, she pursued an Advanced Educational in Prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Schmidt is highly regarded as a distinguished lecturer and seminar leader in Aesthetic Dentistry and Full Mouth Reconstruction. She is an international keynote speaker on topics of aesthetic dentistry for DenMat and Orthosnap. Driven by her dedication to providing personalized and gentle care, she aims to transform the field of dentistry. Her passion for helping patients suffering from dental anxiety led her to author the book “Fearless Smile: Overcoming Dental Phobia,” establishing her as an authority in the field.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Schmidt is a classically trained pianist and expresses her creativity through painting in her spare time. Her diverse interests and well-rounded approach to life contribute to her unique perspective and ability to connect with patients on a deeper level.
